Phoebe 1-24-10
We had the old girl only 11 months, but in that time she gave us more love and laughter than a litter full of puppies. She is leaving us today, but will live forever in our memories
Markus was the purest example of unconditional love and never-ending devotion. From the first day he joined our family, he brought us great joy and tremendous pride. With his mom in the show ring with him, and his dad outside the ring cheering him on, Markus earned many championship titles. In 2006 Markus earned the title as the 21st top winning Great Dane in the U.S. - an honor well deserved! Markus was gracious and friendly to everyone he met. He was gentle and patient. He won the hearts and admiration of everyone who met him. He was a once in a life-time companion - he was truely "Worth The Wait". Rest easy our sweet boy... our hearts have been shattered with your departure
In memory of Vikki Linstroth. Her passing is a loss to the Great Dane Community and all those who loved her. I took this at her house when she had a litter of dane pups, I think this picture really captures vikki and who she really was. She delighted in her puppies and would get right on the floor with them and play, her dogs brought out the very best in her and she saw something magical in them and they made her so happy, she truely was one of a kind. I will miss my dear friend

Marla was not a Great Dane. She was a Boston Terrier. She came into our lives in the greatest hour of her need. She was 9 years old and 8 lbs. She could barely lift her head or hold her body up. She was from a hoarding situation and had spent her 9 years scrapping for food and love and as an accidental breeder
Angus 1-2-2012

We were blessed to have this old boy in our lives. In less than two years he stole our hearts and we ll never be the same again. We hope he knew how much he was loved and how much we appreciated the love he gave us. We miss you big guy
Farewell Master
yet not farewell.
Where I go, you too,
shall dwell. I am gone
before your face,
a moments time,
a little space.
When ye come where
I have stepped,
ye will wonder why
ye wept

In memory of Keith Cowley 2/29/1928-2/21/2010. "Till we meet once more, On that far distant shore......
An "alpha" personality to the very end, Trina crossed the bridge very unexpectantly at only 9 1/2 years.
After spending the past several years as a "love everybody only child" in her forever home, she s back with Keith - demanding & getting his full attention
Born 8-14-1998 Passed 3-17-2010 Hossy was a great friend and a super dog truly a GREAT DANE.He had one of the best temperaments and attitudes towards life. His last year when he was in pain from arthritis he still played with our other dogs .He lived a long and full life( 11years-7months) we will miss him dearly .Rest in peace Hossy. LOVE , MAMA and PAPA
Zena was one of a kind and to know her was to love her. She was a TV commercial and print ad model and a true Diva. She ruled the household and let everyone know she was to be obeyed. Her passion was chasing a laser light, and her failing body never slowed her down. Her life was rich and full thanks to a wonderful foster mom and she leaves all of us who knew her with wonderful, funny and touching memories.
Rest well until we are together again my sweet Zena
In memory of Jackson, who gave us his love everyday. "How s my boy" would always start and end our days. He loved belly-rubs and hugs. He made us smile and laugh. Taken from us way too soon, we will meet again. We love you
Indie; With us a short time but will forever be remembered and in our hearts.  "I "was the lucky one when she came into my life.
Diesel, it was human stupidity that took your life and my heart will ache forever.  Rest easy until we meet again.
Do something GREAT today
help a DANE
"Casey - our first Keeshond who came to live with us as a bouncy 8 week old puppy born on New Year's Day in 1998.  He loved car rides, dog shows (but not the grooming), & up to the last day at 14 1/2 years old, stealing things to get our attention.   Casey, please keep Keith busy, as I know you can do so well!
Our beautiful girl passed away tonight.
She took the decision away from us and left this world on her own. She was laying in her favorite chair went she passed.
My heart aches for losing my baby. She took a piece of my heart with her. What she gave me in return was unconditional love, kisses and more kisses, and memories that I will keep forever.Until we meet again...I will always love you my Miss Ellie.
Mom
Samson is now pain free and healthy.  He is running freely in the heavens, awaiting my reunion with him.  I look forward to meeting up with him again and feel the warmth of his big head snuggling up against me. Thank you Samson for the life you have given me.  I could never have asked for a better, more devoted dog than you.  You have definitely changed my life for the better.  Until we meet again … RUN FREE, SAMSON, RUN FREE.
In memory of Elwood, a Doberman that loved every person or creature he ever met.  Chronic halitosis.  Scared of the wind.  Howled at the answering machine.  And raced in funny circles each time he saw a squirrel.  He made my heart swell.  He made me laugh.  He brought me joy and unconditional love.  He will be missed by his beloved Great Dane soul mate, Tink.

RIP, Elwood, my sweet little lamb.

Truman, my heart is breaking over your passing.  I know you feel all the love I have for you.  I know you were happy with me at the sanctuary.  I know someday we will be together again.  Until then just help all the dogs that need homes find their way to us.
Sweet Lily,  you had a terrible life in that puppy mill and were very brave to escape and find your way to the sanctuary.  You were funny, cranky, silly and loving.  When the pain took over your failing body we knew it was time for you to go.  We are so glad you had a chance to fine out not all humans are greedy and abusive and that you were loved to the very end.
ZASU you
brought so
many people
joy and love
and laughter.
You were a
shining example
of what a Great Dane should be.
